Westernport Whiting and Cherry Truss

This painting is a depiction of a freshly caught Westernport whiting on a white plate on a green blue tabletop with five small cherry truss tomatoes. Painted using eco-friendly oils and a vibrant palette, the paint is applied thick with visible and energetic short brushstrokes that flow across the tablecloth in hues of greens reminiscent of the movement of the ocean waves.
