Commission policy

Eligibility & Scope

• Commissions may be requested in the style of the artist’s existing work, including similar themes, colour palettes, subjects, or compositions.
• The artist does not recreate past artworks exactly. All commissions are unique, original pieces.
• Requests must reference specific artworks or collections from the artist’s portfolio to ensure clarity of style and direction.

Creative Freedom

• While the artist will draw inspiration from the referenced works, the final piece will reflect the artist’s current style, techniques, and interpretation.
• The artist reserves the right to decline commissions that:
• Attempt to replicate a past artwork too closely
• Conflict with the artist’s values or artistic direction
• Are outside the artist’s skill set or medium

Concept Approval

Clients must provide:

• The title or image of the existing artwork(s) they want the commission based on
• Any preferred adjustments (e.g., colours, size, mood)
• The artist will provide a concept sketch or written outline for approval before beginning the final piece.

Pricing & Payment

• Pricing is determined by size, medium, and complexity, not by the referenced artwork.
• A non‑refundable deposit (30–50%) is required to secure the commission.
• Final payment is due before delivery or shipment.

Revisions

• One round of minor revisions is included at the concept stage.
• Revisions that significantly alter the approved concept may incur additional fees.
• No revisions are accepted once the final artwork is complete.

Timeline

Completion time varies depending on the artist’s schedule and the complexity of the piece, typically 2–8 weeks.

Rush commissions may be available for an additional fee.

Copyright & Usage

• The artist retains full copyright to the commissioned artwork and the original works it is inspired by.
• Clients may not reproduce or sell the artwork without written permission.
• The artist may share the commissioned piece in portfolios or social media unless confidentiality is requested.

Shipping & Delivery

• All artworks are packaged securely and shipped with tracking.
• Shipping costs are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated.
